PURPOSE
The organized unit of United Methodist Women
Shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God And to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; To develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission Through participation in the global ministries of the church.
General Meeting – First Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at the church. (We will not have General Meetings in the summer)
Noon Circle – Third Thursdays at noon at the church.
UMW Sponsored Book Club
The group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Commons area.

Projects:
- Knitting or crocheting Prayer Shawls. Patterns and information is available.
- Project Linus — we are making blankets for children who are ill or abuse. Join the project and bring the blankets to the Library Classroom and they’ll be taken to Project Linus in Tyler for processing. We have completed hundreds of blankets so far (thanks to Diana Woyt).
- Pillowcase Dresses and little boy shorts– These will go to Kenya or Haiti
- Kits for Sager Brown. This year we are doing School Kits.
