History

Dietz Engineers, LLC, is a structural engineering firm in Tyler, Texas. The company grew out of the former firm Kassaw and Dietz, Inc., which was established in 1976 by Jerry D. Kassaw in Tyler. Donna M. Dietz joined his firm five years later. In 1998, the firm became Kassaw and Dietz, Inc., with Ms. Dietz becoming President in 2003. Dietz Engineers opened its doors in 2010.

We are located in South Tyler in the Colonial Building at the corner of Old Bullard Road and Chimney Rock. Our address is 1937 North Drive  Tyler 75703.

Professional Experience
Ms. Dietz manages the firm and coordinates the project scheduling with the project managers. She serves as a knowledgeable contact with the clients and all members of the design team for the duration of the projects. Mrs. Dietz has extensive experience in Structural Engineering Services for multi-story concrete, steel, masonry and wood construction.

Professional Experience
Mr. Dietz’s responsibilities include the design and preparation of construction documents and project coordination with production personnel. He is also involved with coordination during the project construction phase. Mr. Dietz has experience in structural design of buildings, building evaluations and project management. His experience also includes job site observations to insure construction adherence with design plans.
